Partially & Unfunded Research

Partially Funded Research

These studies and projects require further funding to continue

There are currently no Partially Funded Projects

Unfunded Research

These studies & projects require at least a minimum level of funding to get started.

Reclamation of Rotational Energy in Electric Engine Powered Shafts

Purpose: This research seeks to apply principles of electro-magnetism and rotational physics to optimize a regenerative system for electric vehicles that effectively extends the range of a vehicle on a single battery charge.

Research Lead: Mr. Suchanek

Estimated Research / Project Cost: $450,000

Minimum to Begin: $42,000

Expected Time to Complete (fully funded): 18 - 36 months

Catalyst Driven Transformation of Plastic Waste to Usable Oil

Purpose: The purpose of this research use pyrolysis and a catalyst (or combination of catalysts) to break long-chain hydor-carbon polymers into usable fuel in a scalable, repeatable, and inexpensive way.

Research Lead: Mr. Suchanek

Estimated Research / Project Cost: $300,000

Minimum to Begin: $56,000

Expected Time to Complete (fully funded): 18 - 36 months

Examining Population Migration Influencers using Agent-based Modelling

Purpose: This study will use agent based modelling to examine the variables that affect population migration in sudden, extreme "emergency" situations.  It is designed to help influence strategic policy decisions made by governments during emergencies and natural disasters.

Research Lead: Ms. Saunders

Estimated Research / Project Cost: $57,000

Minimum to Begin: $12,000

Expected Time to Complete (fully funded): 6 – 12 months

Systems Analysis of Electric Vehicle Production

Purpose:  This is a comprehensive systems analysis comparison of Electric Vehicles (EV) and Gas Powered Vehicles (GPV). All nodes of the EV and GPV systems will be analyzed, compared, and evaluated to determine the relative cost, savings, and environmental impact of EV implementation.

Research Lead: Mr. Suchanek

Estimated Research / Project Cost: $40,000

Minimum to Begin: $7,500

Expected Time to Complete (fully funded): 6 – 18 months

Redefining Words to Change Social Perception and Acceptance of Ideas

Purpose:  This study examines the purposful changing of the accepted meaning of words, and how this influences or changes the perception and acceptance of possibly controversial ideal.

Research Lead: Dr. Suchanek

Estimated Research / Project Cost: $25,000

Minimum to Begin: $5,000

Expected Time to Complete (fully funded): 4 – 8 months

If you have any questions regarding research listed on this page or other research / projects / grants that the STIEWIE Institute is working on, please contact us!!

Is there specific study or project that you would like to help fund?

Every little bit helps.  Research will begin when an unfunded project reaches its "Minimum to Begin" amount.  Different projects require different levels of funding, and
